I got Monzo to help automate & track my banking . It's great for that and really easy to use. What loses it 2 stars though is the almost total lack of security in opening the app. There is fingerprint biometrics, but that's not on by default. It's also the only way to secure the app and your banking details. Fingerprint is ok, but certainly not as reliable. Sometimes it takes several attempts to unlock. I would really like to see additional security options, such as passwords or numerical codes.

my fave. I use this bank for all my 'spending' money in combination with starling which I use for my bills I like the pots so I can put money away but also budget for the month eg. £100 for eating out a month ect the interface is great and I've never had any issues when it first started you could get on chat with a worker super quick but this has slowed down massively. still quicker than the larger banks though I don't like that the 'upgrade monzo' add is there all the time. no thank you.

The app & savings are good & easy to use. Allowing early access to funds is a great benefit. It's let down by customer service. Would love to have a full conversation with the same person but you message, wait for it to be picked up, then your reply will be from a different person throughout the whole issue. All messages are scripted I've seen via numerous different conversations & the frontline team can only access a portion of your account. Overall a good bank needs a lot of minor tweaks
