Ratings and reviews

New user here (post-redesign). The app isn't terrible, but it's unnecessarily bloaty, because it has a lot of pointless redundancy, buttons and sections that link to the same places or perform the same function, which causes more confusion. Keep it simple, one button to perform one function, unless absolutely relevant somewhere else. However I really appreciate that they allow usage of the app on modified devices.

Was great until I changed phone. Completed all security requirements, got a notification that my identity had been verified. Contactless didn't work. Help button sent me to a phone number. I called and was sent back to the app. Found the in app text help and asked for help. No answer for 30 mins. Finally a copy and paste answer - complete verification, something that is not an option because I have already completed it. Explained this. No response but then access to the app was removed.

I have just started using the bank, it is a nice bank. but why can't I log in straight from the app using my details without going to the email to first click on the link. That process is unnecessary and generates annoying notifications in my email. Imagine opening your email to see 20 notifications from monzo and its all to confirm your identity before signing in on the application. Please fix this.
