Signed up for Monzo Plus to get to see all accounts in one place but sadly it has been badly implemented. If you want to change the category of a transaction you have to do it one by one for all transactions from the same merchant. Other similar apps allow you to select one and gives you the option to then apply it to all past and future transactions from that merchant. It is a big pain in the butt. Will be cancelling Monzo Plus as soon as the 3 months is up.

I really like Monzo as a bank platform. As someone who has used pretty much ALL of em (100 debit cards/secured credit cards), I like this one the most for now. There are a couple of features missing like the Overdraft Loan and stuff, but their transparency and honesty can't be ignored. They also are in the habit of growing, and they seem to genuinely value feedback. I've been with them from the start (card says BETA), and they continue to grow and become better. Try it! You'll <3 em! I promise!!

Great experience with the bank, and the app and its UI/UX for ages now... BUT: they recently changed the home screen to a new, fundamentally flawed, and objectively worse design. They keep removing more from the old design so it's only accessible from the new, forcing customers to switch. This isn't working for me, and I'm not the only one. I'll be looking at other app-based banks from here. Perhaps I'll even get a bonus for switching. Thanks for the ride while it lasted Monzo, but no.
