really happy with this app/bank. had a bank before sofi ( I will not mention their names) but my account was hacked 3 times!! I finally got fed up with them and switched. I'm so glad I did. the app is easy to use, and you also earn points, which you can redeem for cash, or pay off your credit card/student loans. I'd give them 6 Stars if it would let me.

This is by far THE best platform to organize your money, so long as you get a consistent paycheck. pro-tip, do the math before opting in to the "pro" services. if you have 20k in a savings account, you will make the money it costs back, and then about $120/year extra on top of that. all due to the extra 1.2% they offer on APY. That being said, if you don't have a lot of money saved up, you DO NOT NEED the pro services to benefit from the ease of use and visibility that this app gets you.

Generally, the bank and the app are alright. However, I am having a major issue with the fact that some merchants simply don't accept the card as payment. In my experience this has mostly been restaurants. It's super embarrassing to have my card denied when trying to pay a bill. Even though the card still works via Google Wallet. SoFi needs to investigate why their card is not being accepted by some merchants.
