Functions as described, but could be better. My biggest issue is the delay after each sentence spoken. I am was hoping to use this with my epub reader offline, but the delayed speach is killer! *Edit* I have since tried every Piper model available through this service and the delay is still significant. I look forward to future updates that may mitigate this issue!

I have looked for a way to improve the android Google book read aloud experience for a long time. I think voice sherpa is the solution. I will test more before I buy the ad free license. right now I cud not configure it as my connection seems poor on the train. it was enough to get the default choice to work but not to mess around with configuring the voice. but so far the result is a huge improvement over the default android tts.

V grateful for the nice voices. Amy is enough like the old Amy to save my soul. But BUGS! Speed slider no effect. Wrong voice- select one in the app; another plays in eBook reader. Speed /pitch settings clash with system settings, but controls greyed out in system settings. Voice list sorting not working. No 'test /play' on settings tab. No reset button. Back arrow dead. Not sure how to even get voices usable, so impeded by this broken tool.
