Eight months after my initial review, I still use ParentVue every day and I still absolutely dread opening this app. My primary issue is that the app constantly times out when switching between pages when I've only spent a few seconds looking at (for example) Grade Book. I check my daughter's Science grade, swipe back, random JavaScript-looking error tells me I'm not signed in anymore. Close app, reopen. Cycle starts again. There are many other UI/UX problems here that I don't have space to list

Absolutely awful. Navigation is clunky, and constantly breaks. For example: tap on a teacher name in the calendar view for a day's schedule to send an email, then select Gmail to open the link: you get a new email to write, but an empty "to:" field. Go back to PV to try again, and the link is now broken; even the refresh links don't work. There's no other way to copy the email address from within the app. It feels like a cheap web app, not native, but like it's based on an early 2000s website.

9/18/20 - This app is lacking in design and quality. The mailing system works, but is buggy and broke in many ways. If you compose and send a message it indicates it's loading but falsely makes you think it's sent by keeping you on the compose screen. Notifications do not work 4/29/25 - I am so grateful to find out though email that there was an issue with @studentname@,@school@... parent vue emails are so helpful
