Ratings and reviews

Game Coaster has served me well with Dungeon Maker for ten years. They have only gotten money from me three times: DM+DLC, and now. For all the effort they put into one of my most beloved games, I am fine with paying the price for an early access game. I know they will meet my expectations. And if not? Oh well. But I doubt that to be the case. The game—however rough it is around some edges—is already fun to me. It can only go up from here.

Gamecoaster puts out quality games that aren't money sinks, and offer a lot of re-playability. Dungeon Within is no different, with beautiful pixel art and a lot of different playstyles. The game is still a bit early, so there's still some growing pains (Last Stand Coliseum building feels nearly critical every game), but there's a lot to enjoy with a beautiful presentation. I can't wait to see what's next for the game.

if you like gamecoaster's other games you'll like this one too. I have to say my only disappointment so far was I had hoped their newest game was gonna be a blend of Dungeon Maker and Dungeon Squad. but it's more or less Dungeon Maker made more streamlined which is nice. my only other grip is that you can't swap monster parts once equipped, it'd be nice if you could use special currency or something to remove them from your archived monsters. besides that the monster girls are hot as always!! 💖
