The app and the project were commissioned by the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry Jena and focus on the German-Brazilian research project ATTO - Amazonian Tall Tower Observatory, in which the Amazon rainforest is being researched. The research areas include the carbon cycle, the so-called VOCs, flying rivers and global particle travel. In addition, you can explore the ATTO camp in 3D and see which buildings it is made up of and which areas are being explored.
