Created an account without issues, and have been using it ever since - the majority of online services in Estonia support this app as a login method. Its very fast and convenient. After 2 years of using the app, it had never failed me, did not have any issues so far. Keep in mind that if you have Blokada or something similar, it will block app notifications, so you would need to whitelist the domain that Smart-ID uses.

So so difficult to register. It will tell you that if you have never used smart id for biometrics before then you cannot even register. then you have to go to your laptop and install dozens of softwares to somehow start registering, and despite installing everything, there is ALWAYS an error which fails the process. frustrating app.

App does lots of paranoia checks. checks for root, if custom android OS is used, jailbreak,etc. And disables some registration options if it detects ANY of those. You used ADB to remove bloatware from your android OS? Now good luck sitting in queue in your local bank support center to have staff help you register your ID on your new phone. I just don't understand why you would waste mine and your time like this. EDIT:nonsense reply. Banking apps like Swedbank check for root and that's enough.
