Created an account without issues, and have been using it ever since - the majority of online services in Estonia support this app as a login method. Its very fast and convenient. After 2 years of using the app, it had never failed me, did not have any issues so far. Keep in mind that if you have Blokada or something similar, it will block app notifications, so you would need to whitelist the domain that Smart-ID uses.

At present, it is absolutely impossible for me to complete the registration because it requires personal presence. As you know, energy companies frequently change their names and systems, and for customers who are living abroad, the process becomes even more complicated. Without a Baltic phone number or local bank account, I am unable to register, even though my only intention is to pay my bills and provide meter readings.

Hello! Registration does not require personal presence if you have a valid identity document supported by Smart-ID. Meaning you can use other registration methods - https://www.smart-id.com/help/faq/registering For additional questions - help.ee@smart-id.com

it's real headache to put on new device and be very happy if I not needed to use it, it's pointless, just forse you to get bank account and pay for it and differently you just screwed, because can't do anything. Newer had problems before, when we not had this stupid thing.
