This said it was compatible with my phone. I installed it, went into the help section when it didn't work and none of the fixes helped. It turns out my cell phone needs an IR receive for this to work. Nothing about that was mentioned. Since my remote stopped working, I have found that a smart plug will allow me to turn my fan on/off remotely.

It's a great app and I was able to operate my fan perfectly...except for the ads. Woke in the night and went to switch on the fan with the app and all hell broke loose where the app played a Temo ad at full volume and wouldn't stop. Bleary eyed I had to put the light on to see what was going on, thus waking myself up. Can we have a paid for, ad free version please?

it's very useful for me it has good design without crash and be slow, however I want to have the ability to map my custom remote and change it's icon and text because some buttons do different things than it supposed to do.
