Ratings and reviews

The app is good, unless you look at a lot of firearms. Anytime I click to a link to a firearm at academy in my browser, the app automatically opens, loads for a second, tells me I can't see firearms in the app, and then redirects me back to the browser (where I already was in the first place). It got pretty annoying and eventually I just uninstalled the app.

While its an ok app to make a purchase, its very cumbersome to make a payment on your Academy credit card. you have to reenter all your info again, to include your Academy credit card number, and then you can't use your debit card to make a payment. You have to provide all your bank info! uh, no thanks. I'll come in and make a payment with my debit card. Do better, Academy Sports.

App is extremely slow. For example, it took 20 seconds to load the screen once I hit the "checkout" button from my cart. 18 seconds loading to save a credit card. 21 seconds to load after I finally clicked "place order." Academy- don't make people wait to give you money. And please don't respond with the same "sometimes the app is slow" nonsense that you've been saying to other reviewers for the past month.
