They took the money and disappeared. I started using it when it was called gohenry and was free. They started taking 5$ which was ok and then 10$ per month without me noticing this time. I asked to get the money remaining there, about 700$ in their app and close my account. Now I can't access it or see anything and the money is gone. No cheque no transfer to my bank, no email about the. to expect it.

Good luck getting money off of it. You can't unless you use the actual card or find an atm. My child can't even use the card half the time because it only works in like 5 stores. They have put so much security in this app that its basically useless as anything but collecting money for a hobby. I have $10 I have had on there for a year because I can't use it anywhere and won't put anymore money on there because it just takes it and only let's you look at the balance.

Overall, I’ve had a great experience with Acorns. The cards work reliably, which is a huge improvement from Greenlight where we constantly had issues. I also love how easy the app is to navigate. The only downside I’ve noticed is that you can’t change the PIN but everything else has worked really well for us so far. 😌
