Ratings and reviews

The whole app is just a web wrapper. Processing isn't done on the device, and if you leave it in the background it has to "reconnect" to the editor. You have to backtrack through 2 menus when creating a new project just to get an option to use media from your device, and on top of all of that it can't even export a video as a GIF. Adobe was once the standard, now it's pathetic garbage pandering to generative AI and influencers instead of actual working artists.

I only want to make simple slideshows with music and voiceover. The free version of Adobe Express allows for that with no watermark, this includes basic transitions between images. However, they don't help you do it, the app is set up to use premade templates and they push AI. If you're willing to take the time to figure out how to make your own, then it's worth it. I might give 5 stars if they made the simpler way easier to find and use.

I made the video pretty alright looking, but as soon as I tried the voice-over feature it always enhanced the speech even when i turned this feature off. The playback sounded horrible when it should have no reason to. i have access to the premium features as well. If other apps can do this just fine why can't this one. (my video was 13 seconds long)
