Honestly lately I can't even get the app to open up which is very annoying. The past couple months I just get a blank screen or retry later message when I open the app. I constantly have to uninstall and re install to get it to work which is VERY annoying and inconvenient. EDIT: 3 years later and the app still has loading issues, it works good when it actually loads but dont count on that

I LOVE AE! My entire closet is full of there clothes, this app has a very clear and good rewards program but the app itself has some flaws. Everytime you go on the app you have to put in your password to see your rewards, which is fine but when you are trying to pull it up quickly for the cashier to scan it, it feels like it takes forever. Also you cant use gift cards on the app at least with my experience, I had to go to the website. But you get notifications for rewards and deals,overall good

The app definitely makes it easy to shop and get even better deals occasionally. If you don't have the AE credit card, you're gonna want it!! I don't even like using credit cards but this one I had to get. it has THE best rewards program which makes it impossible not to keep buying things, because you get so much out of it, perks for using it, and they offer extra rewards if you have the Visa and use it outside AE. They definitely know how to do business and KEEP business. Thank y'all
