HIGH.FI is a new kind of RSS news reader, that constantly updates news from thousands of news sources and shows them in chronological order, categorized for easy reading.

With the app you can follow your favorite news, sports and entertainment. No need to add RSS feeds or browse news site-by-site -- it has been all done, you just pop in and read, either the latest news or the most popular ones.

If you want, you can also install the app as a widget to your Android homescreen, configure how often it should update, what news categories to show, etc.

What does the app need various rights for?

-Calendar: needed to automatically update the widget
-Media: needed for video playback in news articles, when using internal browser
-deviceID: needed to personalize news

Ratings and reviews

The layout is different than other news apps. One feature I like is the option to select where they receive their news..( news sources ) and the availability is quite large, probably over 150 sources. It's updated regularly.... If your looking to read up on the news, this is great...with many categories and topics.

It's a good app, I really loved the widget and the ui. However, that being said, I do wish it would show popular / latest news for your location - especially since it asks for it! I'll update my review to 5 stars once that becomes the case.

USE EXTERNAL BROWSER! The most important to me, plus dark mode, great choice of news sources.
