Cast Receiver turns your Android TV, TV box, tablet or phone into a full-featured
AirPlay receiver and DLNA receiver. Mirror your iPhone, iPad or Mac screen, or cast
video, music and photos from Android, Windows or a NAS - with no Apple TV, dongle or
extra hardware.

Two receivers in one app: Cast Receiver works as an AirPlay receiver for iPhone, iPad
and Mac, and as a DLNA / UPnP receiver and media server for everything else. Any device
on your Wi-Fi can send media or mirror its whole screen to your display. Zero

HOW TO USE (3 STEPS)
1. Install Cast Receiver on your Android TV, TV box, tablet or phone.
2. Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network.
3. iPhone / iPad / Mac: open Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring, and select your
Android device. Android / Windows: open any DLNA / UPnP app or your gallery and
choose "Cast" or "Play to".

TROUBLESHOOTING AND FAQ
Q: My iPhone cannot find the receiver.
A: Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network, and that your router is not
using AP isolation or guest-network isolation. Turn off VPN and allow local network
access when iOS asks for permission.
Q: AirPlay mirroring shows a black screen.
A: Update to the latest version and reconnect. Some DRM-protected streaming apps block
AirPlay screen mirroring - use their built-in cast button instead.
Q: Video stutters or lags.
A: Move both devices closer to the router, prefer the 5 GHz band, and pause other large
downloads on the network.
Q: The device is not listed.
A: Restart the app on both sides, and check that the Android TV box and the phone are
on the same subnet.

All streaming happens locally on your own Wi-Fi network. No video, audio or personal
data is uploaded to any server.

Works great! I can easily mirror my iPhone to my Android TV. Connection is fast and stable.

This app generally works great! Video player still struggles with HEVC x265 .mkv format but dev is actively working to resolve this and actually cares about this app and it's users.
