About this app
Alevate Books is the capture app for the Alevate Books accounting platform. It does one job and does it properly: it gets a bill out of someone's hand and into the accounts, the moment it happens.
HOW IT WORKS
Photograph a bill, a receipt, a bank slip or a delivery note — up to ten at a time. Check the batch, drop anything that came out badly, then send it in one tap.
Each one is read for you — supplier, date, amount, tax — and turned into a draft entry that appears on your bookkeeper's Checkpoint screen in seconds. They check it, correct anything the reading got wrong, and approve it. Only then does it reach the books.
Nothing is ever posted automatically. A person always approves.
BUILT FOR A BAD CONNECTION
Photographs are sent one at a time, so a weak signal cannot take the whole batch down with it. Anything that does not go through stays on your phone and tells you why, and pressing Send again retries only what failed. Nothing is ever lost quietly.
WHO IT IS FOR
Drivers and delivery staff — photograph the signed delivery note at the door, not at the end of the week.
Warehouse and gate staff — capture what arrives as it arrives.
Shop and office staff — snap the receipt while you still have it.
Owners and bookkeepers — send from your phone, then review and approve on the web, where the rest of your books are.
EVERYONE SEES ONLY WHAT THEY SHOULD
Access is by role. Someone set up to capture sees the camera and their own uploads — and nothing else. No balances, no invoices, no accounts, no reports. You can hand this to a driver without handing over your books.
If you keep several businesses, you choose which one you are sending to, and you only see the businesses you have been given access to.
