HOW TO USE NOVLI:

1. Snap a photo of a mandarin chinese text you want to read.

2. Tap on words to instantly translate them and see pinyn.

3. Explore the other features: add to Anki style flashcards in a single tap, ask AI questions about the text, listen to your text.

Novli works for images of textbooks, novels, social media posts, uploaded lecture notes, or any other Chinese text input you need.

We built Novli because when we were learning to read Chinese, it would always take ages to look up words in Pleco, find their pinyin, and add to our Anki flashcards. Now we can do this all from Novli in a few taps.

This Novli app is so annoying! It doesn't allow proper multitasking. I can't have two apps open at the same time using split-screen,It takes forever to play the audio, and the text translation is a mess. In the folders where you save your texts, you can't even create subfolders! And it's too expensive to have these kinds of basic errors. I really hope you fix this, because you could be the best app for studying Chinese, but right now you're not even close.

I'm currently learning Mandarin for business and I need someone to read my notes for me so I can get an accurate sense of pinyin. This app has been amazing so far. You can alter the speed of the reading, and it is pretty good in deciphering my handwritten note. However, if I may suggest, I would hope that more optimisation to enhance the accuracy on the reading could be done. Sometimes, the words are read in gibberish, so I could only try to edit the words again although the text are correct.

So far, this app had been amazing, it read my textbook accurately with accurate pinyin and translation, flashcards feature is good although it would be nice if it contain quiz for it aswell. I'd say it helped me memorize & understand chinese words better and not to mention convenient too. Overall I'm satisfied by it

1. Added a warning when creating duplicate flashcards.
2. Allow users to create "Reverse" flashcards, with translation on front, Chinese on back.
