HOW TO USE READLY:

1. Snap a photo of a mandarin chinese text you want to read.

2. Tap on words to instantly translate them and see pinyn.

3. Explore the other features: add to Anki style flashcards in a single tap, ask AI questions about the text, listen to your text.

Readly works for images of textbooks, novels, social media posts, uploaded lecture notes, or any other Chinese text input you need.

We built Readly because when we were learning to read Chinese, it would always take ages to look up words in Pleco, find their pinyin, and add to our Anki flashcards. Now we can do this all from Readly in a few taps.

Could you possibly add a feature where we can take a photo of things, like fruits for example, and after taking the photo, the app shows us the Chinese words, vocabulary, characters, and pinyin for them? That would be so cool if you added that to your app! Just a thought, though

An app made by a student learning chinese for students learning chinese, an app with all the tools you need for it, I believed it was bs at first but it really helps you out to improve, thanks Alex, really.

yet so far so good but can you at least add the thing that we can slow down or make it go faster however we want? it would be an excellent app if it did so. I will come back to give it a five star if it happens.

What’s new

Fixed issue were some features were not supported in certain regions e.g. Russia, China, Hong Kong. Now everything should be working smoothly everywhere!
