HOW TO USE NOVLI:

1. Snap a photo of a mandarin chinese text you want to read.

2. Tap on words to instantly translate them and see pinyn.

3. Explore the other features: add to Anki style flashcards in a single tap, ask AI questions about the text, listen to your text.

Novli works for images of textbooks, novels, social media posts, uploaded lecture notes, or any other Chinese text input you need.

We built Novli because when we were learning to read Chinese, it would always take ages to look up words in Pleco, find their pinyin, and add to our Anki flashcards. Now we can do this all from Novli in a few taps.

not even a day of using the free trial since my one free scan was used up, the app was more infuriating to use because all the characters were scanned incorrectly and i spent more time fixing the errors than actually reading the book, which i hoped to do. i had to use another app, Pleco, to fix the characters and im atp of just using pleco just to do the intended functions of this app. plus its a one time purchase with the dictionary app than this app that scans incorrectly:(

Okay so Im going to be honest, a lot of features are hidden behind a paywall but it makes sense because running an app loke this isnt cheap here are the pros 1. Easy to read hsk 6 level texts for a learner 2. one tap gives you the meaning AND context (this is missing in various apps) 3. you can basically make it an audio book (cdrama lover here) 4. there's unlimited flashcards even without the premium version cons 1. no option to upload epubs yet (if they are then i dunno) thanks to dev tho

This apps help me learn much easier. with one tap it can explains how the word is use in the sentence. not only just give the translation.
