It seems to be a pretty standard (and fine) mobile banking app in most respects. There is one thing hat really irks me about it. The login screen disables paste. That means that if you use a secure password manager you cannot paste your password into the field. My password is random, long, and complex, but I can't use it easily because paste is disabled. I'm incented to have a worse password because I can't paste. Allowing paste or fingerprint login would significantly raise my rating of this app.
Unable to mobile deposit After updating the app I tried to deposit a check, which I've done before with the old version of the app, and it came up with an error message stating that the picture was not clear. I took a picture multiple times and it kept giving me the error until it said the service couldn't be completed at that time. I called the CU and their advice was to come in or mail the check into them. So much for convenience...
Constantly down Since the day I updated the app from the old version I have had constant trouble logging in. I get an message saying it can't validate my login info and to call an 800 number. After sitting on hold I am told the app is down. The app is down more than it works. I'm disappointed. I used the old version of the app consistently and could rely on it being usable.
Switching between apps is painful When you switch to another app (e.g., to look up a payment amount in an email), then switch back to this app, you are required to enter the password again, no matter how quickly you come back. Maybe someone considers this good security. I consider it absurd and a major nuisance that renders the app almost unusable. Other than that, a solid app that supports all the most important features.
Safe and secure You're an idiot if you complain about the apps screen function. Mandatory annoyance in my book.
Useless App won't let me pay my loan from an external account. So I'm sent to mobile website. Which won't let me login. So i go to the classic website. Which first off is beyond confusing to navigate. Secondly doesn't give full screen on mobile device. I called 24hr number, rep tells me to go buy a laptop... all i want to do is pay my loan. Really thinking about refinancing with another CU.
