It's a great roguelike, but the combat is very frustrating. You have to position your units well to do well in combat, but moving your units around is clunky. When I lose combat, it often feels like it wasn't any particular bad choice on my part, but rather because my units didn't move in the way I wanted them to.

If im being honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with this game. It sounded interesting so I thought I'd try it out. The story is awesome! I fantastic sci-fi "who dine it" style rogue like. It's challenging enough to keep me on my toes during battles, but not so impossible I can't win. You can upgrade your main battle ship and either upgrade your fighter ships or get better ones. Lots of small ways to customize. Over all it's a refreshingly unique game!

Great game! Pros: Plenty of options, recource management feels well done, and the story is a great jumping point for a sc-fi game. Cons: Text is a little small on mobile and combat can feel a little clunky with ships rebounding when they engage in between hexes. Overall great game, keep it up!!!

What's new

The “Last Orders'' update is the final free extension for Crying Suns.
It includes 2 new character factions, the Prag Mah (a caste of relentless imperial judges and executioners) and the Phalanx (an order of deadly mercenary warriors), but also many new contents to discover.
If you already own Crying Suns, it should update the new content automatically without any impact on your current save. Last Orders update is included free for anyone who purchases the game from this point forward.
