A very good app on the whole. As someone mentioned it would be nice to have the option to search using English keywords. Here's a bug in Putonghua pronunciation search function: If I search for ài, I will also get results for hài and zhài. Perhaps this can be seen as a feature for someone unsure what initial the word contains, but then I'd like it be an option. Also, I use a dark theme on my phone. So the animated character stroke order is a bit hard to see, as are some of the variant characters; they'd need a lighter background. I don't mind the ads, but I would like to donate.

Really appreciate your suggestions. Search for ài also give you hài and zhài is an intended result. Personally I can't remember pronunciation well and it helps. I finally released an ad-free version. The features are the same with theme and pencil in the logo changed color.

I have some doubts as to how correct the stroke orders are. Take 性, for the first example. proper order is the left dot, right dot, then vertical line completing heart radical. this app says the vertical line is first. in 學,the left 4 strokes are first then the middle x's, but again the app says the x's are first. can this discrepancy be explained?
For 學, starting with the middle strokes is correct, as in 樂, per my learning. Some websites show 學 with left first, I conjecture they're Simplified Chinese-oriented and not familiar with Traditional Chinese and rely on the creation tool. For 性, China does left dot, right dot, vertical; Hong Kong/Taiwan do vertical second. see dict.mini.moe.edu.tw

The software has been useful for me to learn traditional chinese. The animated strokes are a blessing when I don't know how to write a word. Hopefully more words will be added in the future ^ ^ However, the ads are permanent, there is no way to remove them as there is no paid option. Its hard to concentrate as a result.
