APKVault: extract, backup and analyze your Android apps

APKVault lets you save any installed app as an APK or XAPK file directly on your device — without root access and without connecting to the internet. Whether you are switching phones, resetting your device, or simply want to keep a working copy of an app you use every day, APKVault gives you that control.

Extract APK and XAPK files in seconds

Modern Android apps are distributed as split APKs — a bundle of files tailored to your device. Standard extractors only grab the base APK, which often breaks when installed on a different phone. APKVault handles split APKs correctly, packaging them as a complete XAPK bundle that installs reliably on any compatible device.

Organized backup history

Every extracted file is saved to your extraction history, including the format, size, and date. You can share, reinstall, or delete backups directly from within the app. Files are stored in your chosen folder — internal storage, SD card, or any custom location — and remain available even after the original app is uninstalled.

App analyzer and developer tools

APKVault includes a built-in technical analyzer that lets you inspect any installed app in depth:

• Permissions: see every permission the app requests, including which ones are classified as dangerous


• Trackers: identify third-party tracking SDKs embedded in the app
