Radio station for New Town Residents. In a unique endeavor, New Town has launched an Internet based Radio Station for its citizens’ engagement amidst the gloom cast by COVID-19. The initiative can be accessed very easily via Google Play Store. Launched on April 14th 2020, the innovative initiative aims at providing entertainment and cheering up the citizens of New Town who have been unable to venture out of their homes due to the countrywide lockdown imposed in light of the COVID-19 crisis. This app has a play & pause button for listening 24X7 Internet based Radio Station named Radio NewTown. Website & social media pages of Radio NewTown are hyperlinked in this App. The Radio NewTown will play songs, broadcast audio plays, talk shows, chats with noted doctors among many other things. The platform will also be used as a medium through which important announcements shall be made that pertain to several initiatives being undertaken by the civic authorities. Radio New Town is set to bring cheer to New Town residents.
