what is up with this app lately, plays for a minute then quits. super annoying, usually wprks so well more info as requested by dev: When I select my station and start listening the player will stop within a minute or so. It doesn't matter if I leave my screen on or not, I have to select the play button again and go through the ads again. I thought maybe I needed an update, so I did that and the problem persists. I have this issue while on wifi and 5G.

This was once a fantastic app with ads that were manageable and reasonable. But recently the ads have become unbearable and just beyond insulting. They lock up your phone screen, mute button that never works, every single time I click play is an ad, ads last way too long with no timer or indicator and often the audio will continue playing after closing the ad which forces you to close and restart the app which mean yet another ad when you press play. really disappointed

Radio Canada app is great for local (Canada) and worldwide AM/FM radio listening. On rare occasions it has temporarily lost a station 'signal' at a crucial point in a broadcast but otherwise app is good. Ads don't usually feel intrusive for casual listening.
