About this app

With this BMI Calculator you can calculate and evaluate your Body Mass Index (BMI) based on the relevant information on body weight, height, age and sex. Check your body stats to find your ideal weight, because overweight and obesity are risk factors for diseases such as hypertension, heart disease and diabetes. It can also be used to find your healthy weight if you want to lose weight or are on diet. More information about BMI classification which is used by the BMI Calculator is available on the website of the World Health Organization (WHO). Please leave a ★★★★★-rating if you like our app! Does what it needs to do, no ads. Has a little trouble with landscape mode on my tablet, but that's fine. BMI as a measurement isn't perfect in general, that's not the apps fault. Overweight is a clinical term, it's not an insult. Don't rate it badly just because you don't like the results. It's a tool, not a 'perfect just the way you are' simulator.

This app is helpful and very simple to use. The only thing I don't like about it is that after the last update it doesn't show tenths of an inch in height anymore. The tenths place is still there, but you can't see it anymore. It's not that big of a deal, but it's annoying when apps go backwards.

It's okay, it doesn't seem to update properly when you change a single variable though.

What's new

The BMI classification can now be changed in the app settings. We currently support the classification of the World Health Organization (WHO) and that of the German Nutrition Society (DGE).
