Sleep Countdown is intended for use in the evening and during night-time awakenings. When sleep is already disrupted, the goal isn’t stimulation — it’s reassurance.
That’s why the app uses a warm, deep orange colour scheme chosen specifically for low-light, night-time use. Warm tones are commonly considered less stimulating in dark environments.
The interface is intentionally:

So you can check your remaining sleep time and return to rest more easily.
