Today is a good day to start running and get in shape. In just 9 weeks you can go from the couch to running 5 km with our running trainer. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced runner, we have training plans for everyone: 3 km, 5 km, 10 km, 21 km and 42 km in the most complete and free running app.

Couch 5k - Running App is based on the prestigious C25K (couch to 5k) fitness program specially designed so that anyone can achieve their goal even if they haven't run for years (or ever!). This jogging app will guide you step by step giving you instructions when you have to run and walk.

Description of running training plans:

BEGINNERS RUNNERS
● 3k or 20 min run trainer: 6 weeks of training, 18 workouts.
● 5k or 30 min run trainer: 9 weeks of training, 27 workouts.

INTERMEDIATE RUNNERS
● 10k or 60 min run trainer: 12 weeks of training, 36 workouts.

ADVANCED RUNNERS
● 21k or 130 min run trainer: 13 weeks of training, 90 workouts.
● 42k or 260 min run trainer: 20 weeks of training, 140 workouts.

Each run plan has its own interval running progression.

Using this app has made me actually enjoy running for the first time in my life! When I first looked at the pacing intervals I thought it would be too easy, but it's actually perfect. I feel challenged but not like I'm going to throw up of pass out (unlike previous times I've tried getting into running shape). Would highly recommend.

This app is just what I'm looking for when I wanted to start a running routine and found out about C25K. Each run shows the walking/running schedule you go thru and there is a voice that speaks out how long you walk or run. only problem I see is that the screen seems to freeze (the screen darkens) after I finish a run, making me force close and open the app again (it still retains info from the run tho). And I thought the ads were not really intrusive while browsing thru the app.

This app is awesome! I wanted a free couch to 5K timer app just so I can run and not worry about my time or to look at my phone. For a free app this has it all! 5 and 10k running plans, indoor running mode, only one ad per exercise, GPS outdoor mode, built in music player, use of a music app you have on your phone, screen lock, keep your screen from going to sleep, and SO MANY MORE! Very easy to use, even my kids use it!!!
