Tesor uses VPN service to establish connection with the car locally. No server-side VPN is used and no data are collected through the VPN.

Been using it for 2 months, it's hands down the best android screen casting app. Its biggest advantage is you can continue using your phone normally while it's mirroring to the Tesla screen.
