My husband is a native Spanish speaker and I understand some Spanish. This dictionary has been useful to both of us for years. We used it when we sailed in Mexico and even when talking to other native speakers. We were pleased by how often we could find different words for the same English word, representing multiple regions. A single search point for both languages was a time saver.

I would have given this app 10 stars. I still use it on a daily basis, as I believe it has the best overall functionality and references for an English/Spanish - Spanish/English references. I have used it extensively for 3 years. I loved the ability it has to "Export User Data" which saved a backup file to my Google Drive. Then, the unfortunate occurred, I was forced to do a hard reset and complete reinstall of my tablet, requiring that I re-download all of my apps. After reinstalling this one, I wanted to know how to bring the saved data back, so I emailed tech support. I received a very prompt response: "I regret to say that we don't have a mechanism for you to import the data on your new device. We hope to add that to future updates." The volume of extra notes, words, and expanded definitions I have personally added while using the app for 3 years is now gone. Well, technically, the file is still on my Drive, but no way to use it. (DEPRESSED!) So, I'm torn. Yes I would recommend the app, but I am very disappointed. If there is no way to bring the exported user data back after a fresh install, there is no use in having that feature as a part of the app in the first place.

My favorite Spanish/English dictionary app, by far. I like having most verb conjugations. I like the favorite list and use it heavily for vocabulary lists. I've learned many hundreds of words this way. I liked the internet link feature which pulls up definitions from other dictionaries. Unfortunately, this feature is unavailable the last few months. Frustrating. Would like a feature to move from one word on favorite list to the next or previous word without having to back out. Overall, good app.
