Kiim I have used the app for several years and went through a few updates. Why cant they get the items under each heading to alphabetize or have an option to alphabetize things? On android , they line up in order of entry and you cannot move them around.
Updates STILL haven't fixed my problems. I've used this for years, back to my Blackberry days, but since going Android 2 years ago I've had problems: 1. Always opens with everything expanded. 2. Lost the number pad feature to type in Password. *** I've emailed with the author several times about these problems and even sent to tech services. I was promised future updates would fix them but still hasn't happened. *** I am now on my 2nd Droid (Droid Maxx) with the current KitKat, which didn't change the way this app works.
Dale I have been a very satisfied user of Ascendo Datavault since April 2008 on cross platforms including Blackberry, Ios, and Android. I've found this program to be indispensable when managing sensitive data including passwords, Social security numbers and others such as logins, lock combinations and my wife's shoe size;) It is comforting to know that it's security algorithm provides a safe repository for all your sensitive data. The ability to sync with my PCs is crucial.
I've tried them ALL I am using DataVault on my Windows 8 Desktop Also running it on my iPad Also running it on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Have had a few minor problem getting (Save Form) on my browser to pull in the correct (User Name and Password) on some web pages and have reported that to DataVault along a few suggestions. We need another browser for this to work correctly on my cell phone.
Icons fixed, Thank you! Its a GREAT app, I use it all the time. DataVault has saved me a lot of trouble and time on many occasions. My memory struggles with having such a large number of logins and passwords to keep straight, and this has spared me the frustrating lockouts from failed attempts.
My most frequently used app - NOW EVEN BETTER DataVault has helped me to keep track of hundreds of passwords and login information for many years. The nice thing about this app is the ability to sync my android devices with either my Windows or OS X desktops and on the rare occasion I needed support they were very responsive. I've tried others and although they work, none compare to DV's usability. UPDATE: Auto Sync thru DropBox now works seamlessly across all platforms (Android, Windows, OSX, iOS) which automatically keeps DataVault in sync for me wherever I use it. In todays cyber environment it's unfortunately necessary to frequently change passwords and login information in order to keep personal information and $$$ safe and I find DataVault to be the easiest and most secure way to keep this information up to date and at had. If you still use your birthday or dogs name as passwords for everything, you probably don't need it.
