As an intermediate French student I need all the complexities and variations but am often trying to find them with an imperfect understanding of what I'm looking for. Few apps cover this gap well. This one is as close to perfect as I have seen after trying dozens both free and $. The verb conjugation element is a massive bonus. This is the one, no doubt. Pay the money for the best.

I tried several other English/French dictionaries and so far this is the easiest to use, with the most helpful translations and also verb conjugations. I dropped a star from previous ratings. Too many verbs say "verb form of " but infinitive form is missing. Last 5 I tried were like this. Something broken? It never got fixed. Dropped another star.

I use this and Reverso (for phrase translation). Very handy and quick. I've stumbled on a couple of translations that didn't help because the english word was basically the same but I didn't even know what the english word meant (I'm not British). Adding an synonym would help. Or maybe it's just not a common word where I'm from. I've had issues with it crashing when I try to access it after tabbing away and returning but I can reopen it just as quickly. Overall, I am very pleased with this app.
