Very useful free version and even more useful paid version. Fast bidirectional translation. Conjugations. I use it all the time. Would be even better with plurals, especially of compound words, e.g. cavatappi.

Some English words in the American spelling etc. (fair enough for US users!), and a few reasonably common words missing from both languages. Very easy to use incl offline. A personal preference would be to have syllable stress indicated in the text, e.g. underscore the stressed one, as well as the helpful existing option to HEAR a word pronounced. Recommended for quick reference especially. I use it alongside 'Linguee' app (which functions best online). Definitely worth having. Didn't notice ads

Had an Italian offline dictionary that one just failed. I'd been happy with it, but hadn't realised there was something so much better out there. Ok, you have to pay, but why should that be a problem when you're getting such a good product? A real bonus is the look-up facility.
