The app is solid, the selection is solid. The basic subscription gets you a book at a price that's a deal only if what you want is more than the base price you're paying (which is most content). My issue is this: I understand that Amazon and Google are competitors, but because they don't play nice together I might switch to Google for Audiobooks now. Why? Because I can cast their audiobook content to my Google Home and Chromecast, which is convenient for me. The other deal breaker is that I can share access to all my Audiobooks with my wife that I buy on Google, whereas I can't to my knowledge share access to my Audible library with her. Maybe Amazon can find a reasonable solution, but in the meantime...
Yes yes. Ease of use in the device, driver mode is good. What I Don like is the lack of behavioral compatibility with Android Google assistant and I hate to do not be able to use it OFF-LINE in my laptop or desktop as well as not able to share within my devices to my knowledge.
Would be better if it supported Chromecast. This war between Google and Amazon is only hurting both. I'm buying audio books from Google from now on.
I was hesitant at first mainly because I didn't want to spend the money on a subscription and then audiobooks. But man, it's life changing. I'm able to listen to books way more than actually reading them. Whoever is worried about this, I'm a prime example of why you should.
Very useful app that has helped me get back into reading. However, I'm withholding a five star review for what feels like a couple of oversights. 1. I want to be able to set the amounts of minutes for the sleep timer. 15 minutes as a minimum amount of time is too much. 2. Why on earth don't the chapters sync up with the actual chapters of the book? Why not have chapter titles when they're available? It makes it difficult to tell where I actually am in the book. 2a. And I'd also like more than a millisecond between chapters. It feels unnatural after some heavy chapter to segue instantly into the next, often jarringly changing the tone. Other than that, great service.
Great app easy to use. Only things I'd like to see is app store having better showcase of free books haha, but otherwise great app.
