Flex splits your monthly rent into smaller payments, helping you pay rent on time, improve cash flow, and build your credit history — so you can breathe easier every month.


With Flex, each rent payment contributes to your credit history. You can also split your monthly rent into smaller payments using a Flex line of credit. You have the flexibility to choose your payment dates to better align with your finances, or pay directly in the app when it’s convenient for you.


*Flex is a financial technology company, not a bank. Flex lines of credit are offered through Blue Ridge Bank, N.A., Member FDIC or Lead Bank. An application and credit assessment are required for approval. Credit line amounts vary based on eligibility (graphics are illustrative only); to access a credit line, you are required to make timely payments each month. Secured lines of credit are provided by Lead Bank at 0-36% APR based on your credit worthiness. You are required to maintain a security deposit. Unsecured lines of credit are provided by Blue Ridge Bank or Lead Bank for a recurring monthly membership fee of $14.99 at 0% APR. A bill payment fee of 1% of your total rent is also charged when you pay your rent using Flex (additional card processing fee applies when using a credit card). Memberships automatically renew until canceled. Flex may report positive rent payment history and information about your line of credit to one or more national credit bureaus. Its nice it splits it into two payments. They charge you 15 a month to use their service and they charge you for each payment too, it wasn't clear what they were taking until the last update on the app now it shows they take a percent and what it is. The customer service is the absolute worst, and there's no phone number, only email and it's the absolute worst when you have a issue.

I absolutely love Flex!! They have most definitely saved my life financially! Especially since my rent has gone up $100 the last 2 years from $600 to $911!! I don't make $900 a week and depend on Flex to help me pay my rent. They take the first half out of my checking by the 5th. Two weeks later they take $14.99 fee and second half of the rent out which is awesome and convenient. I would recommend Flex to anyone. Its awesome and worth the $14.99 monthly fee. I plan on using them indefinitely.

Irksome. App got picky that my estimated rent was $3 high, so went to fix it; app then wanted me to put in 1st payment amount - which means it's still talking more than one a month, right? Nope, "1st" payment was supposed to be total monthly rent, so it split the value in two - and wouldn't let me back up or otherwise fix the math. I give it 2 stars just because it let me send the "second half" right after, but that's still not the total I need to ACTUALLY send in for the month! Frustrating!
