Bad Coach is a satirical step-challenge app for anyone who prefers motivation as a cheeky bet.
You choose your step range, and Bad Coach draws a daily target from it and turns it into a simple question: Bet? Accept the challenge, collect your steps that same day, and show the app that its doubts were wrong for once.
What to expect:
- daily step bets instead of complicated training plans
- coach lines and roasts with adjustable intensity
- points, achievements, and Nemesis levels for completed challenges
- a local logbook for your past bets
- optional reminders for new daily challenges
- offline-first: progress, settings, and history stay on your device
Bad Coach is deliberately not a wellness coach, medical product, or training plan. The app attacks your excuses, not your worth. It uses your step count only as motivational context for the daily challenge. If you allow step access, Bad Coach reads only your step count from your device's step source. The app does not write Health data or remove external Health data.
After the 7-day trial, you can keep using Bad Coach with Pro or Pro+. Pro includes the full app locally. Pro+ additionally lets you save and manually restore a current progress and logbook snapshot with a connected account. Subscription management and cancellation are handled through Google Play.
In short: Bad Coach counts your steps, mocks your excuses, and rewards you when you walk anyway.
Step bets, roasts, and achievements from your worst coach.
