New user here (post-redesign). The app isn't terrible, but it's unnecessarily bloaty, because it has a lot of pointless redundancy, buttons and sections that link to the same places or perform the same function, which causes more confusion. Keep it simple, one button to perform one function, unless absolutely relevant somewhere else. However I really appreciate that they allow usage of the app on modified devices.

Hey Ayman 👋 Thanks so much for the feedback! Are you able to share with us what buttons or areas you find to be redundant? We'd love the chance to improve these 🙏 If you're a US customer, you can email us at or for UK-based inquiries, is our contact info

I've given the new UI a bit of time, but I really don't like it. Home screen is cluttered, fiddly to go between single and joint accounts. Paying someone is more complicated - can't they change move money button to pay payee (rare I need to transfer). I have several pots, but these are not necessary to be shown in a long list (you can hide them but then can't access them without unhiding??) No user improvements I can see. Everything involves so much more taps now to get anything done.

The new layout is terrible. Ruined a perfectly good app. Monzo don't listen to customer feedback. No way to turn off the useless "activity view". No way to ungroup savings accounts on the home page. No way to remove the last "pinned" account. Monzo used to be great but they just don't listen to feedback to make the home screen actually usable. It's a mess and confusing.

What's new

"Nothing" is a song by English rock band A, released as the first single from their third album Hi-Fi Serious. Nothing is also what we have in the way of updates, it’s been a week of bug fixes and general maintenance.
