Ratings and reviews

When Fi3 came around with the subscription model it was supposed to include hardware upgrades. They had raised the price, where the earlier models you bought the device and paid for the service, for a time, a reduced rate. So they have an actual upgrade which they claim faster seek times, a serious need, they have pulled the free hardware upgrades, right after my subscription reupped. And battery life went from months to maybe 2 weeks. The Apple move. Planned obsolescence. Screw us.

The app is a complete trash. Collar set up doesn't work. Continuously asking permission to track you using your location. Update: I'm really pleased by the support team. They do a great job. But there are a lot of tech issues with the app and bad UI/UX practices that need to be fixed (e.g. to logout from an account is a big quest)

I loved this app and would have kept recommending it until this change. Up until now, I could use the app, view activity, and access features without enabling constant Location and Bluetooth permissions. Now the app will not even open unless they are enabled. Requiring “Allow all the time” location access for basic app use is unreasonable, especially when existing customers previously used it without these permissions. It doesn't seem right to force these just to even open the app now.
