About this game

Take the map, one castle at a time.

Battle of Castles is a real-time multiplayer strategy game: no turns, no waiting. You give your castles an attack direction, your troops march out on their own, and the map changes colour in front of you.

ONE BATTLE, NINE MINUTES (TWELVE IN 2v2)
You start with a single castle. The others are neutral or held by your opponent. Every castle produces soldiers, and every conquest speeds you up. When time runs out, whoever holds the most ground wins, unless no one is left standing.

DEFENCES THAT ACTUALLY MATTER
On every road you can raise a wall that stops enemy columns, towers that pour arrows into approaching soldiers, and catapults that pound the fortifications across from them. Each piece has its own target: towers shoot men, catapults break stone, and only soldiers can take a castle.

TWO VERSUS TWO, WITH FRIENDS
Play 1v1 or 2v2. A team code is all you need to challenge a friend directly, skipping the queue. On a team, you can send your troops to your ally to save them from an assault.

CASTLES TO COLLECT
Every battle earns gold, win or lose. Spend it on entire castles (marble, desert, obsidian, frost, tree-fortress), which your opponents also see, in their own colour. None of it changes the balance of the game: the shop is purely cosmetic.

NO SIGN-UP
Play in one click, no account and no email. An account is available, but only if you want to carry your progress to another device.

LEARN BY PLAYING
The tutorial plays like a real match: eight steps, no wall of text, and a tutor on the other side who lets you try.
Real-time strategy: conquer the map, castle by castle, in nine-minute battles.
