This app helps us to move rapidly from stress to joy. The tools are based on emotional brain training (EBT), which was developed at UCSF by Dr. Laurel Mellin and a team of researchers.
The goal of the method is to use simple emotional techniques to shut off the stress circuits, and over time, to rewire the brain for resiliency. As stress is the root cause of so many problems, finding new ways to rapidly reduce stress could prevent health problems and improve the effectiveness of traditional methods for treating them.
Research has shown that this brain-based approach can be highly effective, with improvements in anxiety, depression, obesity, diabetes, addictive behavior, work stress, relationship issues, and high blood pressure. This app is for members of the brain-based health community only.
