About this app

The Registered Japanese Teacher Pass is an unofficial practice app for continuing your studies for the basic and advanced (reading comprehension) sections of the Japanese Language Teacher Certification Examination on your smartphone. It includes 720 practice questions based on the publicly available exam outline, scope, and past question trends. No login or account creation is required. The exam scope is organized by subject area, allowing for repeated practice.

The content is organized into eight areas: Society/Culture/Region, Language and Society, Language and Psychology, Language and Education, Language, Educational Practice/Lesson Design, Learner Support/Assessment, and On-site Support/Collaboration/Safety. You can choose a subject area and start with short practice sessions of 10 or 20 questions. Even on days when you don't have much time for studying, you can progress little by little by choosing the subject area and number of questions.

It also supports practice sessions with 100 basic questions, 60 advanced reading comprehension questions, and 160 combined practice questions. This distribution is for practice sessions within this app. The advanced (listening comprehension) section is not included, and official audio or exam audio is not reproduced. This app does not include features such as audio-based questions, reproductions of actual exam questions, or displays of the exam content from the day of the test.

After answering, you can check your correct/incorrect answer and key points. The premium version allows you to read detailed explanations and explanations for each of the four answer choices. You can review not only the reasons for the correct answer but also why other options should not be chosen. You can review incorrect answers and questions of interest, and check your accuracy rate and learning progress by subject on the analysis screen.

In the learning section, you select the subject area and number of questions you want to work on, answer the questions, and then proceed to the explanations. You can check the number of correct answers from your learning results, and use the record of incorrect answers and difficult questions for future review. You can select the font size in the settings screen, and you can check your daily learning progress within the app.

The free version allows you to use some questions in each subject area, correct/incorrect judgment, key point explanations, learning records, and learning prioritizing incorrect answers. By watching an ad to the end via the single button on the question settings screen, you can add up to 5 questions at a time to subjects with low unlock rates. The usage limit is 3 times per day across the entire app, and added questions can be used on subsequent days. The added questions are included in the regular number of questions per subject area.

The Premium version is a one-time purchase. Upon purchase, you will have continued access to all 720 questions, detailed explanations, answer-option explanations, difficult questions, 160 practice questions, and ad-free viewing. If you have already purchased, you can use the restore function. Even if you cannot connect to the purchased service, you can still use the regular learning screen.

This app can be used as a learning aid for those who want to practice by subject area during short periods such as commutes, those who want to review across the scope of the basic and applied (reading comprehension) exams, and those who want to review using incorrect and correct answer rates as a guide. This app alone does not guarantee passing the exam or eligibility to take it.
