BlueCare Connect RI connects you to everything you need to easily manage your health. With BlueCare Connect, you can:

1. Find high-quality, in-network doctors near you and compare costs before you go
2. Access your insurance card from anywhere
3. View important plan and benefit information
4. View past claims, medical and spending account balances
5. Get recommendations based on your benefits and history
6. Meet health goals by tracking steps


BlueCare Connect RI is available exclusively to individuals and their dependents who have access to BlueCare Connect RI through their employee benefits program. Features vary depending on your employer’s offerings.

Not sure if your employer offers BlueCare Connect? Ask your employer’s Human Resources department.

Note: BlueCare Connect RI supports major activity trackers including Apple Health, Fitbit, and Garmin — so you can easily sync your activities.

Ratings and reviews

Despite fingerprint working, also requires password and two step authentication. Navigation is now difficult. Must wade through all kinds of rewards and who knows what just to find my claims and how much of my deductible I have used. Old app was easy to understand and navigate. This gets my blood pressure up which does not help my health.

Login is difficult, harder than it needs to be. It takes 3 or 4 SMS messages to copy and paste the 6 digit code to log in. The fingerprint authentication does not work because you have to login before you can use it, which is a ridiculous catch-22 situation. The user interface is not clear, requiring jumping around between levels of menus. Using this Health management app is not good for my health.

the wellness section never downloads all my calories from Samsung Health. update 01/14/26: it seems a little better with the new build but it still takes a lot of manual user intervention to get the calories to sync .
