This app is not affiliated with, associated with, or endorsed or sponsored by the U.S. Coast Guard or any other government entity — it reproduces public-domain government text as a study aid, nothing more.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO

• English only. There are no translations in this version.
• It is a study aid, not a carriage-compliant copy. It does not satisfy the requirement in 33 CFR 83.01(g) to carry a copy of the Inland Navigation Rules on board; see NVIC 01-16 and carry an approved copy.
• No sync between devices. Your progress lives on the device it was made on, because there is no account and no server to sync it through.
• Nothing is uploaded. The app makes no network calls of its own; the only thing that ever goes over the wire is Google Play's own purchase check.
