About this app

For users at participating campuses and institutions, eAccounts mobile makes it easy to view account balances, add money and track recent transactions. At select campuses, users can now add their ID card to the eAccounts app to access places like your dorm, the library, and events; or pay for laundry, snacks, and dinners using their Android phone.

It mostly works. I'm in the IT side, and I see a fair number of times when people aren't able to scan, but then they remove and add their ID again and it works fine. That shouldn't be necessary, but it's nice that the solution is simple. i also see folks who get new phones and they can't set up their IDs on the new phone without our assistance. That shouldn't be necessary, but it's forced by 2SV/MFA.

If it works the first time you're all set, but if not... impossible to get support, difficult to interpret options, lots of dead ends. I've tried many times and I haven't gotten my ID to work in almost 2 years.

does not allow users to add the ID to their smartwatch unless it is an Apple Watch with an iPhone or a Samsung watch to a Samsung phone. It should be platform and company neutral.
