In Blapp you can:
- See all Black-owned businesses nearby on a map or in a list
- Find products and services offered by Black-owned business owners
- Filter by category to display relevant results
- Search for specific products or services provided by Black-owned business owners
- Share products and services with friends

Once you find something that you love, you can jump to Etsy or Yelp to purchase or book it.

Ratings and reviews

I love the idea & concept of having this app. However, there's a lot of restaurants listed that aren't black owned. I've flagged the restaurants in the past but they still linger on the app. In order for a restaurant to be added, it should have to go through a verification process or be charged a gratuity to showcase their restaurants. Restaurants that aren't black owned should be banned. Just having the app open to all invites the wrong people to discredit other black owned businesses.

I appreciate the idea behind this app and supporting Black-owned businesses, but there are several areas that need improvement. First, the selection of businesses is very limited. It would be great if the app expanded its database and included more Black-owned businesses across different industries and locations. Second, the app feels slow. Pages often take too long to load, which makes the experience frustrating. And, finally, the map feature has a bug. when I click on the map of the location.

I love the idea. It definitely lists business near me that I didn't know were actually Black owned. love that. But it gets stuck sometimes, and I have to close the app then open it again. and it doesn't link to anyone's website it just lists addresses and phone numbers. A web link would be super helpful especially if it's a place I'd want to book an appointment or see if they have anything I actually want. I also didn't see a place to list a business that isn't there. It can only get better!
