About this app

BLE Finder helps you locate your own Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices by scanning nearby advertisements and visualizing signal strength (RSSI). This app scans only—it does not pair or connect.

Key features
- Live scan of nearby BLE devices (search and sort)
- Signal-based status (Hot/Warm/Cold)
- Finder mode with a signal gauge and trend graph to guide your movement
- Optional vibration feedback when the signal is strong (supported devices)
- Automatically stops scanning when the app goes to the background

How to use
1. Tap Scan to discover nearby devices.
2. Select a device from the list.
3. Move slowly and follow the direction where the signal consistently increases.

Notes
- RSSI is not an exact distance measurement. It can vary due to walls, people, orientation, and device battery level.
- Use this app to locate your own devices only. Do not use it to track or monitor others.

Permissions
- Android 12+: Nearby devices (Bluetooth) permission is required for scanning and showing device info.
-Android 11 and below: Location permission may be required by the OS for BLE scanning (the app does not collect or store location data).

Privacy
- No account required.
- Scan results are not stored or transmitted.
