I love my library! This has been a game changer for me and has allowed me to access e- and audiobooks on the go. I have a print disability but am still an avid reader. so it feels good to support my local library in what way I can. The UI is simple and pretty intuitive, I wish there were more granular controls for playback speed (audio) and display (ebooks), and for tags/shelves like Libby has. I also like that it's a searchable library rather than algorithm-driven, feels like I'm in control.

My library recently switched from Libby to BorrowBox and I don't like the app as much. it feels a little clunky and it's harder to find something I want to read. Also, with Libby you can search by keyword or topic to find appropriate books, but this doesn't work with BorrowBox. Edit: they also send you an email every time you borrow or return a book and you can't turn that off. I don't need an email to tell me about something I just did.

Not a very easy interface to use. Search for titles and authors and you're met with not available - but I know it is, because I've gone through the genre section and found it there. The genre section is also difficult - organised in alphabetical order for thousands of books and audio books... haven't found a way to find a specific genre I'd like and no way to jump to the letter of the alphabet I want to get to. Frustrating.
