How to connect this smart TV remote app to Apple TV?
1. Ensure your TV is connected to the home Wi-Fi and is on the same network as your smart phone.
2. Open the Remote Control for Apple TV, select the target device, and start controlling your TV.
3. If you choose to use IR mode, you must point your phone’s IR blaster directly at the TV. The usual working range is 5-15ft.

Troubleshooting:
- The app can only connect if both your phone and TV are on the same Wi-Fi network.

So Far....will keep you posted. 8/22 - have not been able to get power on/off and volume buttons to work. App has to many ads and the one to upgrade every time you select a button that doesn't work is annoying as he'll. Disconnects from wifi too easily if you walk away from the TV with your phone. I'm not interested in paying a weekly fee when I can just go by another remote.

More ads than remote. literally could not tell you if it works well or not, you're presented with over 20 seconds of ads and THEN their "pay for premium" ad! No matter what I did, what button I pushed, it brings up their ad to pay for the remote! How can I know if I want to pay for it if I can't even try it?! I'd rate it negative stars if I could.

I've had this app for 5 seconds. There have been three ads, a push to give the app a 5 star review before I even tapped anything, a prompt to subscribe to the app, and when I tried to close that, a pop up for a "surprise 3-day free trial!". Uninstalled instantly. I have some choice words for the developers, but I want people to see this review, so I will keep them to myself.
