About this app

With the eBike Connect app, you can customise your eBike experience: connected, individual and interactive. Connect your Nyon or Kiox via Bluetooth with your smartphone and flexibly plan your routes, use the navigation via your display, track your activities or protect your eBike from theft with the premium function eBike Lock. The eBike Connect app offers you many helpful functions for your eBike with the Bosch eBike system 2.

Please note: This app can only be used for eBikes with Bosch drive units and Nyon or Kiox on-board computers with Bosch eBike system 2.

Route planning and navigation
Use the flexible route planning and navigation of eBike Connect. You can conveniently plan your rides and customise, import or share routes. If you synchronise with Komoot and Outdooractive, you can discover even more exciting routes. In addition, eBike Connect app suggests you routes that fit with your preferences and mood (fast, scenic or eMountainbike). If you start your planned route in the app, it will be transmitted to your display or on-board computer.

Activities and fitness
From distance and duration to calories burned: view and evaluate all details of your eBike rides.

Ratings and reviews

Bike equipment manufacturers usually aren't the best app developers, and i had very low expectations, especially considering that it supports now deprecated system. Yet the app were solid in all regards. It records my rides, connects to the bike without issues, doesn't drain my battery and does not crash. Good job and keep it running!

I'm having major issues with the e-connect app syncing with the Kiox. I have to constantly uninstall & reinstall. That sometimes works. When I'm on a long ride...or race, I can't stop and fiddle with this thing. Most of the time in order to have the white "✔️" meaning both the app and Kiox will download the accurate tracking info I have to have my phone screen on. I've taken my bike to my local bike shop, an update was done months ago. Bluetooth & location are on. Soooo Frustrating.

Pretty good. The street map is easy to read, but does not show terrain detail, so off-road tracks just float in unlabeled areas, with only nearby water/street landmarks, but no satellite or topo data. There is no editing of routes nor privacy zone. Also no prior-route overlay - so each ride is a clean slate, without being able to reference prior trails. Legs can be renamed, though, and the map scrolling and zooming are fluid. Far better than viewing on a bike computer, and is sync'd to the Site.
