Agent Banking is a widely distributed channel of BRAC Bank PLC providing a range of transactional and account-opening services using an independent network of Agents operating Agent Banking Outlets across the country. Agent Banking offers an alternative delivery channel that provides convenient and low-cost banking services. It is a new and integral component of our bank’s multichannel “Phygital Distribution Strategy”.
With the introduction of Agent Banking, the people at remote areas of the country will be able to open accounts, deposit & withdraw cash, maintain savings as accounts, DPS & FDR, transfer funds for business and personal purposes, receive foreign remittance, pay utility bills & insurance premium, disburse and repay loans, receive government allowances and benefits, avail debit card & cheque book and many more banking services at Agent Banking Outlets. Additionally, BRAC Bank has pioneered collection of corporate bills from distributors through Outlets, supporting businesses with modern cash management solutions.
Considering the current evolution towards digitalization and the financial or banking literacy status customers, we have tried to make our transactions and service delivery as paperless and convenient as possible.
