About this app

Easily learn Korean phrases and words! Speak Korean with confidence!

The “Learn Korean” app has many useful Korean phrases and words (e.g., “Thank you!”, “How much?” or “A table for two, please!”). When you tap a phrase, the app speaks it aloud. There is no guessing as to how to pronounce the words. And if the app is talking too quickly for you, simply tap the snail icon to hear the words more slowly. And if the app is talking too quickly for you, simply tap the turtle icon to hear it more slowly. Listen to pronunciation recorded by native Korean speaker and then record and play back your own voice to practice your Korean speaking skills!

When traveling to Korea (e.g., Seoul, Incheon or Busan), make sure you bring the app with you! Ideally you listen to a phrase and repeat it, but if your accent is terrible, you can play the voice on the app to local Korean people (e.g., a waiter or store clerk).

The ADS, whew!! Lost a star there. Otherwise good app, the audio is great, easy to understand, unlike some that have a robotic voice that mispronounces the words. Useful phases (in formal language), I think it will be great for building phase recognition. Also really like the "favorites" option where you can save words/phrases to a separate tab for easy studying. Recommend being able to read Hangul. I'm curious if there's more content available with the 4.99 upgrade? Seems pricey if not.

Korean is worst but Arab could be worser. Seeing korean characters from different words in dicktionary drive me insane, they too unique it's harder each time when memorizing. Words total need reading again month after month, studying once wont remember well coz its mind's nature. Terible language yet beautiful in shapes when writing, this how i describe. Dont kno* if i'l remember all very well if i study for decade but i bet on it. Rather study than never efort. Holy Moly Cows i'l try my best!!!!

I'm studying korean. my partner is from Korea. As soon as I started using this app he noticed what I was writting and told me it's wrong. I have used other ways to learn korean before. Example thank you is gamsahamnida 감사합니다 The most common way to say thank you. Not 고맙습니다 gomabseubnida. Is only said to friends, if you go around saying this to people they might think your weird. Please inform people of formal and informal ways to say things. As age and friendship have a impact on the words.
