About this game

Queens is a challenging logic puzzle. Place a crown in every row, every column, and every region, but make sure that the crowns do not touch, even diagonally! Each puzzle has exactly one solution, which can be found through logic reasoning. No guessing is needed!

This puzzle is the same as the daily Queens puzzle published by LinkedIn and the daily Starstruck puzzle published by Netflix.

While solving these logic puzzles can be tough, you can always check if your solution is correct so far and ask for a hint if you get stuck.

Queens can be classified as an object placement puzzle, like Battleship or Trees and Tents, and as binary determination puzzle, like Hitori or Nurikabe. The puzzle is very similar Star Battle (also known as "Two Not Touch"), where you need to place 2 stars instead of 1 crown per region. Users often refer to this logic puzzle as an interesting cross between Sudoku and Minesweeper.

I'm really not one to review an app, but I've been very pleased with all of the apps brennerd has made! ads are infrequent (as compared to most game apps) and relatively unobtrusive. The game is not focused on any kind of "leveling up" or some weird storyline, no flashy lights or over stimulating graphics it is exactly what it is. truly the equivalent of having a paperback book of puzzles. by the time I finished all of the free levels on queens, I just downloaded trees and tents!

Probably the best Queens app on the Play Store. Simple layout. I used to play one of the other more popular Queens apps, but they increased the amount of ads sometime ago. This app only gives an ad on completion of every 2-3 puzzles, and harder puzzles might take several minutes to solve, so I barely see them anyway. Levels will eventually run out (800, which is a lot tbf) but I've been treated so well, I'm seriously considering paying for the extra levels.

my purchases are gone! I had up to 800 puzzles, now they're gone!! Update: dev is super responsive, still resolving, but has been a great support. Update 2: found my game was connected to the wrong Google account. had to uninstall, and reinstall as me, and it worked! lost progress, but that's not a problem.
