Binary Twist is a challenging logic puzzle. It is also known as the Tango puzzle, as published by LinkedIn. Fill the grid with 0s and 1s, ensuring that each row and column contains the same number of 0s and 1s, there are never more than two adjacent 0s or 1s, and all (not-)equal signs are satisfied. Let's Twist, let's Tango, have fun! Each puzzle has exactly one solution, which can be found through logic reasoning. No guessing is needed!

While solving these logic puzzles can be tough, you can always check if your solution is correct so far and ask for a hint if you get stuck.

Binary Twist, also known as Tango or Binairo+, is a unique variation of the classic Binary (Binairo, Binoxxo, Takuzu, etc.) puzzle, which is identical to the daily Tango puzzle published by LinkedIn. Binary Twist can be seen as both an object placement puzzle, similar to Star Battle and Queens, and a binary determination puzzle, like Hitori or Nurikabe.

Ratings and reviews

Fantastic version of Tango that guides you to progressively more difficult levels. Once you get used to the patterns you can zone out, almost like a trance state. I've introduced this game to several others. The later levels can get tough -- I had to solve Fiendish 80 & 90 with pen and paper! Glad to say I've completed the 800 levels without hints 💪. Would be good to be able to 'favourite' certain levels, and earn trophies (maybe per difficulty level, or whether you've used no hints).

Everything you can hope for in a free puzzle app! Adds seem to be short; skippable; and at the end of every 3-5 puzzles. You get timed per puzzle (pause-able) and can access other puzzles for a while if stuck. The only features you are able to pay for are removing adds and extra level packages - and you actually have to click away from the puzzle selection screen for it to tell you this. There seems to be a good progression between early levels but I haven't progressed through more than 20.

Quick and easy to learn, but challenging enough to keep you entertained. Like all of the developer's other games, this focuses on a clean, simple design that puts gameplay front and center. Would love to see an option to change the Is and Os to filled/empty circles.
